St. Mary’s of the Assumption Council covers Summit County (Park City, Kamas, Coalville, Oakley). The council holds Sunday brunches, St. Patrick Day Dinners, fundraisers and fellowship events.

Our biggest fundraiser is our annual Golf Tournament in September followed by a dinner at the White Pine Church social hall.

Social: First Wednesdays 5:00 pm at The Boneyard

Meetings: Second Wednesdays 7:00 pm in the White Pine Church’s Classrooms

6:00 p.m. - Mass
Ceremony of Lights following Mass on the steps of the Cathedral with the Knights of Columbus
Cathedral of the Madeleine – 331 E. South Temple, SLC
We would be honored to have volunteers participate in the Prelude by carrying a lighted candle in a procession before Mass. These candles signify the lives of these precious unborn children. If you would like to be a part of this beautiful procession, please email mandi.knaras@dioslc.org or
crystal.painter@dioslc.org. Limited spots are available and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All volunteers need to arrive at 5:00 pm.
Proceeds from the Mass collection will benefit the Catholic Community Services Program, St. Martha’s Baby Project, which “comes alongside new mothers experiencing income insecurity by providing newborn layettes containing all of the essentials a newborn may need.”
