Brothers,
On June 2nd, council 5214 is holding our second Night with the Knights family BBQ and recruiting event.
Our Grand Knight has been working very hard to help our council hit our numbers and this Sunday we are installing 3 new nights. This BBQ is our last opportunity to hit our quota before end of fiscal year. We are hoping we can have Knights on Bikes in attendance at our event.
This event will start at 4pm with holy hour occurring in the church, and then the BBQ begins outside on the lawn at 5pm.
We hope we can have plenty of people in attendance to help us with a successful event.

DATE:.........March 11, 2024
SUBJECT:..State Chaplains Meeting, June 5-8, 2024
On behalf of the Supreme Knight and Supreme Chaplain, I am very pleased to invite all State Chaplains to New Haven, CT, to participate in the 2024-2025 fraternal year’s State Chaplains Meeting. This meeting will begin on Wednesday, June 5, with Vespers at 5:00 pm ET and conclude before Noon ET on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Our meeting will once again overlap with the State Deputies organizational meeting, allowing for several joint sessions. The agenda and additional details will be distributed closer to June.
As in years prior, we ask that a State Chaplain or an Associate State Chaplain from each jurisdiction attend the meeting. We understand that some State Chaplains might not have taken office before the June 5-8 meeting. If you will not be continuing as a State Chaplain for the 2024-2025 fraternal year, please pass this letter to your successor.
The Supreme Council will assume the cost of your flights and hotel room (Omni New Haven Hotel, 155 Temple Street, New Haven, CT). Each attendee will also receive a stipend of $700 to offset costs incurred while at the meeting and away from their parish/ministry.
To confirm attendance, please complete the 2024 State Chaplains June Meeting RSVP Form. If you have any questions, you can reach me at chaplains@kofc.org or 203-752-4115. Once your attendance is confirmed, we will make a hotel reservation on your behalf. Please use the following link to book your flights, so the costs will be billed directly to the Supreme Council: Click to book your flight
Finally, please note, because the State Chaplains Meeting will be held in June, there will not be a State Chaplains meeting during the Supreme Convention (August 6-8, 2024, Quebec City, Quebec). Consequently, the Supreme Council will not reimburse State Chaplains who attend the 142nd Supreme Convention. We recommend you talk to your state deputy as some jurisdictions may have travel support for the Supreme Convention.
We look forward to hosting the State Chaplains in New Haven in June! We hope you will find our fraternal time together spiritually rewarding, especially as you pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Order and resting place of its holy founder.

Utah District Deputies, Grand Knights and Silver Rose Coordinators,
As you know, each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. This year the Rose will be in Utah from June 9 through July 6. Please review the attached letter detailing scheduling for 2024 and respond as necessary for scheduling your District/Council Silver Rose events.
Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
We encourage all Knights, their parishes and communities to participate in Silver Rose events.  Parish events can be anything from a simple basic service to a full service with music and a Knights of Columbus Honor Guard.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to be at the forefront of standing for the dignity of life in our society.
