On October 12 we celebrate Our Lady of Aparecida, the patroness of Brazil. During this feast, we honor her with a special Mass that includes a traditional coronation.
At the beginning of the celebration, there is a procession in which the image of Our Lady is brought in. We ask the Knights of Columbus to provide an honor escort during this entrance.
In the middle of the Mass, the coronation takes place. The children bring the crown and place it on her image, symbolizing our devotion and love for the Mother of God.
Honor guard arrives @ 5:30 pm
Mass starts at 6:00 pm with procession
Mass ends at 7:00 pm with recession
Possible food after Mass

I hope all is well. We finally received approval from the VA Administration Hospital for the VA cookout. The cookout will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025. We could use the help of 6 of our brothers to ensure an easy event for all. We are asking you to hold the date open for now. After we meet with the administration official and discuss the details with them on this coming Monday, We will send you additional information regarding the site and time etc. Thanks VJ for taking the lead on this project for our veterans.
