XXSoups & Stations St. Catherine’s

Soups & Stations has approached as we enter into the Lenten season. Every Friday during Lent (expect Good Friday), KofC hosts a Stations of the Cross following Mass at St. Catherine’s and then provides two vegetarian soups for the participants. We are need of two knights for each dinner to provide a total of two different non-meat soups and bread as a side. Each commitment should take no longer than 1 hour from the setup to the tear down for the Dinner. Camille Pauley, acclaimed pro-life speaker and co-founder (with Fr. Robert Spitzer) of the group Healing the Culture will be in Salt Lake City for the first time on February 20th, 2026.  She's here providing pro-life advocacy training for college students that weekend, and has agreed to give a talk for the general public at Saint Catherine's on Friday evening after Mass there.  More information on Camille and the group here: https://healingtheculture.org/camille-pauley/

Fourth Degree Exemplification Welcome my Brother Knights, on February 28, 2026, we will hold an Exemplification of the Patriotic Fourth Degree hosted by Father Escalante Assembly 1146 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish located at 65 E. 500 North, Orem, Utah. Candidate check-in will be in the church. General Information: Exemplification of the Patriotic Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus is the formal initiation into the Degree. It is an afternoon of history about the Knights of Columbus. Any Third-Degree member in good standing is eligible for thePatriotic Fourth Degree. ● A Form 4 (Fourth or Patriotic Degree Membership Application), processed through your Assembly is required for all candidates. The cost of the Degree is $75 before January 15, 2026. After that date the cost is $85 until registration closes on February 16, 2026. Make checks payable Knights of Columbus Utah District Master upon submission of Form 4 application. Mail the Form 4 and payment to Utah District Master Tom Odle, 11149 S. Jonagold Dr., South Jordan, UT 84009. Online registration click here or visit the state website www.UtahKnights.org The candidate cost includes the ceremony, flag, a lapel pin, and certificate. The cost also includes the candidate’s dinner at the banquet following the ceremony and Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi. Additional meals for guests/wives/families/etc. are $30 each. Deadline for candidates’ names must be submitted to the District Master by February 16, 2026.
