What is 40 Days for Life?  
It is a 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer & fasting, peaceful hourly vigils, and community outreach. Although the U.S. Supreme Court decided in Dobbs v. Jackson that the Constitution has no provision for abortion; sadly in Utah, elective abortions are still being conducted.

Why 40 Days?  Throughout Biblical history, God has used 40-day periods to transform individuals, communities, and nations...
* Noah was transformed by 40 days of rain.
* Moses was transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai
* David was transformed by Goliath's 40 day challenge

How can I get involved?  Prayer & Fasting: Ask for 40 Days Devotional Booklets (E-mail Contact below).

Peaceful Vigils: Sign-up for one hour a week on the website (below) to pray with a buddy for the end of abortion.  We value your time and effort, so if you can't commit weekly, just show up when you can (with a buddy).

Vigil Location: Outside Planned Parenthood Metro, 160 S. 1000 East 84102

Vigil Hours: Between 7am – 7pm, Monday-Sunday starting Wed. March 5 through Sun.  April 13th.

XXFYI - Healing Mass

Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Price, 210 N Carbon Ave, Price, UT 84501, USA
Healing Mass — featuring a relic of the True Cross, an authenticated copy of the Shroud of Turin from the Basilica in Turin, and the relics of several saints. This event will provide an opportunity for the faithful to receive plenary indulgences, participate in a Healing Mass, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and venerate the relics. Saturday, April 5, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 N. Carbon Ave., Price, beginning with a rosary at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 9 a.m. Confession will be available until noon. Following the Mass, the replica of the Shroud of Turin may be viewed and the relic of the True Cross venerated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 201 Center St., East Carbon City.

 Healing Mass: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
 Confession: Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the Mass.
This will be a special time of prayer, healing, and grace, with opportunities for veneration of sacred relics, including:
 The Relic of the True Cross
 An authenticated Copy of the Shroud of Turin from TURIN, ITALY
Additionally, relics of seven saints will be present for veneration, including:
 St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus – Patroness of Missions & Florists
 St. Gemma Galgani – Patron of Students & Those Suffering from Illness
 St. Meinrad of Einsiedeln – Patron of Hospitality
 St. John Henry Newman – Patron of Catholic Converts & Educators
 St. Patricia of Constantinople – Patroness of Naples & Those Seeking Miracles
 St. Elizabeth Ann Seton – Patroness of Catholic Schools & Widows
 St. Pius X – Patron of First Communicants & Sacred Music Restoration
Come and experience the Lord’s healing and peace in this grace-filled gathering. We encourage all to attend and invite others in need of spiritual healing.

I have some exciting news for you to share with all your devoted pro-life friends. 40 Days For Life is sending a special speaker to Salt Lake City, Ramona Trevino, a former Planned Parenthood Manager now a 40DFL Outreach Director. Ramona Trevino will share her story of resigning with Planned Parenthood and converting to the Pro-Life Movement with 40 Days For Life.

She will be speaking Tuesday, April 08 @ 6:30PM, at St. Ambrose Church (1975 South 2300 East SLC, UT 84108) in the hall below the church. Refreshments will be provided. Please join us and share this exciting news with others.
