Socks for Heroes
Just as kids need coats in the winter, our veterans need SOCKS. The Utah State Assembly (together with the 10 Utah Assemblies) is collecting “new socks” to distribute to veterans the week of Thanksgiving 2018 on Tuesday, 11/19 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the SLC VA Hospital — 2500 pairs were distributed in two hours (photo). Over 7600 pairs collected so far, and they’re being distributed at VA centers around the state.
