2017.02.06 SD Andy updated the date.

The 2017-18 Fraternal year Organizational meeting will be held at St. Joseph the Worker in West Jordan Saturday, July 8th from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The agenda is being finalized, but I can assure you a lot of what we are going to be talking about relates directly to your council’s day-to-day activities and will impact you for the good. We’re had a tremendous response to the changes we have made at the last Organizational and Mid-year meetings; we had 96 Knights attend the mid-year meeting on a cold, snowy day in Magna last January. Why? They found value in what was presented and took it back to their councils to grow our order’s charity.

We’ll have Grand Knight training by someone with recent GK experience to make your paperwork go a lot faster. Financial Secretary training by the same FS, Wayne Welninski, who provided the highly-successful training in Magna, with an open session to answer your “How to I . . .” questions.
Changes to Utah liquor laws have changed the landscape in which Catholic parish operate, as experienced by those parishes who have had “visitors” recently and have paid the price. We’ll have a presenter to help you stay within the legal lines while showing you how your council and parish can get inexpensive TIPS training form a brother Knight.
Liability insurance. Do you need to get your own? What does the state policy cover? Are you included? How do you provide proof of coverage? Answers to those questions will be given too.
One or more seminarians will be present and we will have a presentation from our new Vocations Director from the diocese, Fr Javier Virgen.
More. Yes, more, can you believe it?

Why is the agenda being finalized? I’m going to Supreme next week and I’m sure that there will be tweaks to it so rather than change what you will see, I’ll send a finished one to you as soon as I get back.

We need your reservations as soon as possible to we know who and what to prepare for. Lunch is free, but you have to register to get it. We have multiple ways to register:
