CARMELITE SISTERS REQUEST FOR HELP
The Carmelite Sisters have asked the Knights of Columbus to help set up chairs, tables, and tents in preparation for their Fair.
Our help is being requested for Tuesday, September 16th starting at 9:00 AM.
The Carmelite Monastery is located at 5714 Holladay Blvd., Holladay, UT 84121
Joe Quintana is in charge of these preparations and can be reached at 801-967-5000.
Please contact Joe and lend a hand helping the Sisters prepare for their largest, yearly fund raiser.
We have all heard about the terrible persecution of Christians in the Middle East, particularly Iraq and Syria. The Knights of Columbus announced today that it is establishing a fund to assist those - particularly Christians as well as other religious minorities - facing a horrific and violent persecution and possible extinction in Iraq and the surrounding regions.
The Knights have pledged an initial $500,000 and will match an additional $500,000 in donations from the public. Please join us in contributing to this most worthy cause.
You can donate online by credit card at
Or by writing a check and sending to it to:
